My photography explores the emotions and attitudes of people experiencing major life transitions, particularly women.
I have studied at Toscana Photographic Workshops in Italy, Maine Media and Santa Fe Photogrqphy Workshops, and the International Center of Photography in New York City. In 2019, my photo was selected by Julie Grahame as one of 40 out of 1300 entries for the Soho Photo National Competition exhibition, and two works were chosen as part of exhibitions at the Griffin Museum of Photography and at their site in the Lafayette City Center Gallery in Boston. My photos are included in "Best of Photography 2013" and were published in Photo District News as first-place winner in the “People” category. In 2017, I was proud to be accepted as an artist-member of the Salmagundi Club, one of the oldest artists’ clubs in the United States. I have exhibited there extensively in juried shows and have received its Philip Isenberg Memorial Award as well as a Certificate of Merit.
