I came to photography later in life and it quickly morphed from a passion to an all absorbing condition. I started photographing for my online fabric business, worked my way up the Leica ladder and want to learn all I can from my own experience, from the best teachers, from books and exhibitions. I find photography exciting and humbling - I thought I'd be better at it, and that keeps me coming back again and again. I shoot in color, but am intrigued by the idea of diving into black and white some day. I've studied with Peter Turnley, Arthur Meyerson and Sam Abell, am energized by their workshops, learn not only from them but from fellow photographers. I live in the ever expanding question, 'What makes a good photograph?'
