Margarita Rousseva is an independent photographer, working in the fields of artistic, portrait and ducmentary photography.
Her first book of photographs and documentary stories, "FARAWAY SONGS", was published with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria and the Haemimont Foundation from New York by Bulgaria's biggest publisher, Ciela. It was inspired by the spirit and rich culture of the people, inhabiting the mountain communities of the mythical Rhodope mountains.
She has showcased her work in solo exhibitions in galleries in Paris, London, Bern and Bulgaria.
Currently, Margarita Rousseva is working on her second book of conceptual photography along with writer Raymondo Varsano.
