Even though she has been a photographer for some time, since 2015 and after a laser eye surgery which went wrong, María has been pushed to take a new photografic, artistic and vital path.
She carries out works of traveling photography, artistic performances which involve communities so that the audience should play an active role in the creation and message of the piece. The latest exhibition of this nature will have place at the Contemporary Art Museum of Madrid in April 2019, with the proyect “Meidriz”.
The latest events have been the selection in 2018 by Transeurope Photo for her work of portraits in European Libraries “Library Soul”. She also achieved in 2018 a special mention in the portrait contest Signo Editores Numen, with a portrait of this series.
In November she will take part in the joint exhibition of artists with low vision at “Casa del Reloj” of Matadero (Madrid) with her first work in this new stage under the title “Aberraciones”
