Born in France, Marianne Boutrit completed her studies at the Ecole Nationale Louis Lumière in Paris before moving to Italy. She began her professional career in Florence working in various photographic studios before moving definitely to Milan in the early ‘90s. There, she opened her own studio specializing in still-life photography for advertising and industrial clients.
Contemporarily, she developed her own personal photographic narration.
Since 1995 Boutrit has been teaching darkroom techniques
at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
