Mariano Frisoli b. 1981 Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Formed as a documental photographer, started working independently since 2010, producing stories about humans and their enviroment.
His first long-term project was "Andrea", an essay about the intimacy of a transgender and his family, it took him almost two years to photograph the story that won in 2013 the contest from Crónicas Visuales Editorial, who published the story with other six photographers works under the book "7".
In 2014, started another long-term project through the foundation Manos Misioneras, who with he approached to the hard life and poverty of the tobacco growers in the north of Argentina, living with the families in the area for short periods of time during two years.
Since that, has been traveling and photographing different countries: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay, France, Germany, Netherlands and United States.
Since 2019, is based in Brooklyn, documenting the neighborhoods and the people of New York City.
