I am a media artist creating short films and video installations, such as "99 years of my life" (2003, 33 minutes) which won the silver prize in category cinéfondation at Cannes Fillm Festival 2004 and was also purchased by MoMA as part of their collections in 2006. However, my works have also been performances, texts, collage and photography. Both the works made with moving image as well as the photographic works and collage have dealt with questioning cohesive storylines and identities and seen the power of images being formed in relation to memories and storytelling.
