I'm a 64 year old doctor. I worked on New York's Fifth Avenue during the summer I turned 14 and spent my lunchtime at a photography gallery exhibiting Cartier-Bresson. I started using a camera when I was 16 and shot mostly medium format Tri-X. I still have some in my freezer but haven't shot film for ten years. I mainly shoot when I travel. The level of effort that film demanded meant that each shot was a commitment. The discipline required forced me to develop composition that matters to me.
