I was originally trained as a covert photographer during my time in HM Forces way back in the 80's. In those days night photography with uprated film was the order of the day.
When I left military service, family and time meant my photography was left behind but the passion never died I decided to take it up again in 2008 and I haven't looked back.
I looked to create realism with characters and actors and I was always looking for the emotion that photography could portray.
I was published internationally with my re-enactment war images, Front cover and spread in Skirmish Magazine iss78, and I won several local awards as well as recognition in Mid-phot national exhibitions.
I was also lucky enough to win the FIAPS International Silver medal in 2014 from the Royal Photographic Society.
I love faces and fine art portraiture, hopefully others will like my work too.
