I did not grow up wanting to be a photographer. I did not get my first camera until high school, and even then I hardly used it. It was not until I took my first Black & White Film Photography class in college that I really fell in love with the art form. Later I found out a lot of my family were professional photographers in their time, which really made me fall in love with it more, knowing it was a part of my history. In 2018 I graduated from Pacific Union College with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography. It took me 7 years to get my degree because I wanted to take every photography class I could and get as much out of the program as I could. I also did not know fully what my style was or what section of Photography I was interested in. The more photos I take, the more I figure all that out though, and become more confident in my work.
