I've been working with children with autism and sensory processing disorders for fifteen years, learning from fascinating little minds and seeing new perspectives of the world and human interaction. After photographing as a young child and having my own darkroom as a teenager, my camera eventually took a back seat to my career and didn't resurface again until 7 years ago.
Inspired by the children that I work with and my life long passion for travel, I've visited 25 developing countries in that time, and never without my camera in hand. I'm extraordinarily grateful for every woman, man and child that has offered me the opportunity to capture their brilliance and a glimpse into their lives. While inspired by people everywhere that I go, in my travels through the developing world, I find that people often possess a spirit, strength and ingenuity that leaves me humbled and awed.
