Martina Zanin, born in San Daniele del Friuli in 1994, is an Italian artist who mainly works with photography. She currently lives between Madrid and Rome.
She graduates with honors at ISFCI (Institute of Photography and Integrated Communication) in June 2016.
She's currently attend a Fine Art Photography Master.
Her work is focused on family, on relationships and the consequences of them on life, using personal memories and experiences as a starting point. Martina brings her background into her works, making them accessible and comprehensible also to individuals not closely related.
She never show the complete structure, by creating situations and breaking the spectator's passivity, attempt to increase the dynamics between audience and author
She received several prizes: two special mentions from Portfolio Italia, Best portfolio at FoianoFotoFestival, 2nd place at Riaperture, nominated Conceptual category of FAPA, 1st place and discovery Of the year "Open Theme" of the IPOTY'16.
