Martina Zanin, born in San Daniele del Friuli in 1994, is an Italian artist who mainly works with photography.
She currently lives between Madrid and Rome.
She graduates with honors at ISFCI (Institute of Photography and Integrated Communication) in June 2016.
She's now attending a Fine Art Photography Master in Madrid.
Her work is focused on memory, and how the latter affects our daily life; the events that marked our past and have an impact on our present.
Family belongs to this world of memory, and she depict her background bringing directly herself and her relatives into the works, creating images accessible and comprehensible also to individuals not closely related.
She never show the complete structure, by creating situations and breaking the spectator's passivity, investigating the duality that develops through different interpretations.
She received several prizes: two special mentions from Portfolio Italia, Best portfolio at FoianoFotoFestival, 2nd place at Riaperture, nominated Conceptual category of FAPA, 1st place and discovery Of the year "Open Theme" of the IPOTY'16.
