Art creates emotions. Emotions create memories.
I cannot draw. I cannot sculpt. I cannot knit. But I can photograph. And this is my way of calling others to explore places and cultures, people and feelings. I invite the viewers to ponder on the status of the people, places and events that are depicted in my images.
I don't try to take photographs about one subject or another. But is a happy instance when two seemingly irrelevant photos can be interconnected in some way. And it’s even better when the viewers can see this connection.
I try to experiment with various styles. I‘m a chaser of Caravaggio’s chiaroscuros, De Chirico’s emptiness, Van Gogh’s yellows and Monet’s landscapes.
