I am a portrait and documentary photographer currently based in Tehran.
I completed my Master's degree in documentary photography and photojournalism in September 2015 at University of Westminster.
My photographic style primarily touches on social documentary. I lived in Tehran, Iran from 2010 to 2014 where I documented the youth of the country. I would spend a considerable length of time with each subject and photograph them in their own habitual environment. We are inundated with stereotypical images from Iran on a daily basis, and I wanted a portrayal which was authentic, honest and a realistic representation.
I currently reside in Tehran and am actively working as a photographer.
