I'm Matteo de Mayda, photographer focused on social projects and reportage.
I've made documentaries in Italy, Uganda, Guatemala, Angola, China, India, Lithuania and the U.S.A. I've also published my work in The Guardian, Gestalten, Internazionale, National Geographic, Wired, Rolling Stone Magazine, Quartz, Domus, IL Magazine and Vice.
In addition, I've participated in several collective and solo exhibitions, including the United Nations in Switzerland (2013) and the 15th International Architecture Biennale in Venice (2016).
Since 2016, I teach photography at the Art History and Performing Arts Department of La Sapienza in Rome.
