I'm a linguistics student who fell in love with photography years ago; after a few high school classes years ago, I've been mostly self-taught and learned from everyone I meet who's willing to talk about photography with me.
Recently, I've launched my attempt at a startup to make my photography obsession financially possible and hopefully profitable, but my love is the kind of work I'm showing you in this project. I enjoy street photography and documentary photography, and one of my goals is to be able to explore photojournalism.
I was lucky enough to take a Harvard Extension class with Greg Marinovich recently and his guidance, honesty, and encouragement (and a verbal kick in the pants when I needed it!) changed my photography and outlook, particularly in terms of confidence. I want to take this series to the next level, and right now I would deeply appreciate guidance on what that is, and how to do so--how to perhaps publish or get a greater reach to do this kind of work.
