Michael Veltman loves photography and the potential of art that it holds. Much of Michael’s work looks to be indeterminate to connect with the viewer and hopes that the viewer is able to complete the story in their own way and form their own connection with the work.
Michael is a photographer, an artist and an architect. He was born and raised in the suburbs on the south side of Chicago. Michael attended the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana where he studied architecture in both the BSAS and the Master’s program with a focus on architectural design. Professionally, he works as an architect on a variety of projects with a focus on high-end residential work. Through architecture he has come to appreciate balance, composition and a holistic approach to work, life and art. His career has afforded him many opportunities to travel and gain access to unique viewpoints locally, nationally and abroad.
