An analytical mind with an artistic soul, Michela D’Onofrio is a theoretical physicist who has always been enchanted by fine arts. During the last 10 years, she developed a deep passion for the photographic medium, to capture what words cannot. She is fascinated by the way light plays with matter, to create patterns and highlights. Whenever she holds her camera in her hands, it’s like she would put a filter on the world and she would start seeing. Details, patterns, and connections would just pop out in front of her. It’s a magical world, the one seen through her camera.
In 2021, one of her works was exposed at the “Monochromatic” exhibition at the PH21 Gallery in Budapest, and other two at the “6th Biennial of Fine Art and Documentary Photography” in Barcelona. In December 2022 she had a solo exhibition in Geneva on cityscapes.
