Travelling to faraway lands is an act of faith for me. Wherever I travel, I try to find that one sign ('the sweet spot' as I like to call it) that vindicates my decision to travel to a location thousands of miles away from my comfort zone. It could be anything - a hike down a mountain to a glittering cove, a drive along the coast to a fishing village known for its grilled calamari doused in a secret sauce, or a quiet conversation with a village elder who survived an attack by a tiger. When I travel to a place, I try to capture the essence of the place through my photo essays and my blog. I like to write in an intimate manner about my travels. I feel sharing experiences of places help break down pre-conceived notions as well as opens up travel ideas for the discerning traveller.
