I got my first camera when I was about 9 years old and photographed everything I got in front of my lens. So, mostly my brothers and parents and some arms and legs from strangers. But soon I really got into photography and I never stopped. Until three years ago I mainly enjoyed photography as a hobby. But I got more passionate about it and started my own photography business. Ever since, I started working on several series like 'No Shelter' and am now working on my first book (Dutch) about the authentic coffee homes in The Hague, where a typical culture is developed over all these years and isn't changed by the coming of social media, smart phones and other innovations. No Shelter is an ongoing series, but for the first time I feel it's ready to be shown to the world and hopefully it let's people think and care more about the homeless people in our society.
