Miltos Poulos was born in Athens, Greece in August 1963. He studied sociology and cinema. He was a student of Greek filmmaker Demos Theos, whose teaching in the cinema school influenced Poulos significantly. Meanwhile, he extended his artistic activities as a self-taught sculptor, to the field of modern sculpture, using mainly iron as the prime material for his creations. Photography has been his interest on its visual arts’ merits. He has presented solo exhibitions on sculpture and photography and he has also taken part in group exhibitions in the field of visual arts. During the past fifteen years he has been teaching classes on cinematography in both private and public educational institutions.
