Nando Gizzi (Italy, 1986) lives and works in Paris.
After studies in art and film history and a career as a teacher and researcher in several universities, he currently works in the field of images education.
His photographic practice - in which he is self-taught, and which he develops today in an independent way - is strictly analog. It is placed between documentary form and intimate narrative, and relies on a language that seeks to mix realism and a more poetic approach.
Finalist of the Libraryman Award 2022 with the series "One less piece every day" and of the Nicéphore+ "Du sacré au profane" competition. With his series "Covid-Lourdes" he participates in The COVID-19 Visual Project created and piloted by Cortona on the Move.
He collaborates with the contemporary photography media Vision(s) - contributing in particular to the page La Sélection.
