*1984 in Holstebro, Denmark.
My way into photography began at the Copenhagen Film and Photo School 10 years ago, where I slowly found my way into the darkroom. But my analog interest or rather material interest really took off when I got accepted to the BA in Fine Art Photography at the Valand Academy at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Here I turned my attention to working more conceptually and in a more abstract tradition, trying to visualise photographic materiality. Besides having studied in Denmark and Sweden I also had a semester at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland and furthermore I also completed a theory-based master’s programme at the Photographic History Research Centre at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK.
I have been working in the photographic archive at The National Museum in Denmark and likewise at The Royal Library (DK) in the collection of maps, prints and photographs. Currently I am working as a fulltime artist in Copenhagen.
