Primarily a personal branding photographer, videographer and trainer, I've specialized in photographing and filming women in particular since 2004, including shooting many modelling portfolios. My passion for this work comes from pain. Growing up with a severe squint, I hated how I looked, and the camera, so much so that I didn’t keep a single photo of myself from before I turned 25. That’s when I met my husband who lovingly helped me to accept my squint.
My work has since completely transformed my relationship with the camera, and myself. A catalyst for me was coming across this statistic from a Dove survey called The Real Truth About Beauty: Revisited: “4% of women worldwide consider themselves beautiful.” My intention is to raise that figure as significantly as possible. So, in addition to doing in-person shoots and training, I’ve compiled my knowledge from 16+ years of professional photography and videography into an online course that helps women to shine on camera and become the stars of their brands.
