I am a visual artist working across multiple disciplines including photography, video, and sculptural installations. I hold a master’s degree in studio art from San Francisco Art Institute and a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Art and Architecture Azad University, Tehran. My research explores the identity of women in relation to culture and society. My work attempts to deconstruct the roles of power and gender in Middle Eastern culture in order to address subjects such as femininity, discrimination, and identity. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in solo, group, and juried exhibitions.
