Natalia Sancha is the special correspondent for El País in Lebanon and Syria. She collaborates with several Spanish media sources (Esglobal, Deutsche Welle, Política Exterior etc). Mrs. Sancha is based in Beirut since 2008 covering regional issues and she focus on the Syrian conflict since 2011 with particular attention to the civilians . She has also covered the conflicts and social unrest in Irak, Yemen, Lebanon and Egypt.
She holds a B.A in Journalism from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a M.A on International Relations from Sciences-Po Paris, and a M.A in Contemporary Arab Studies from Georgetown University, Washington DC where she completed her studies as a Fulbright scholar.
