Natalie Morawsky resides in the Upper Tiber Valley in the Italian region of Umbria. She developed an interest in photography while bicycling across America, endeavoring to document the adventure in pictures. Since then, she has worked to enhance her equipment, skills and artistic voice. Natalie prefers black and white, especially high contrast, photography. She experiments with color digital manipulations to render common images new and unexpected while remaining true to the original image. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums and is held in private collections in the US and Europe. She was a finalist for the Julia Cameron Award as well as the James Pollux Award. She has been published in Black and White magazine. In 2016, Natalie’s work was included in the 4th Foto Biennale in Berlin and in 2017 she was awarded second place in the Photo Review Photography Competition.
