I've worked for 36 years as a cinematographer and Director of Photography. For twelve of those years I made and shot documentaries, including an Academy Award winner "Number Our Days" and for 24 years following I was a DP shooting national TV commercials. I retired early when my wife was given a year to live with cancer. I spent every day with her fighting for her life for a year and a half, until she passed away. Life changed greatly for me and I never went back to the commercial world. But I still see life through a lens. Only now I do still photography and in doing so, I've returned to my documentary roots.
