Niccolò Fano is an Italian photographer, writer and curator. He studied art and design (BTEC National Diploma) at the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury and holds a BA in Photography at the UCA in Farnham. In 2010 he received his Masters degree from Central Saint Martins and completed the awarded Creative Ventures MBA elective at London Business School (2010).
Niccolò’s photographic work has been internationally exhibited and showcased in Italy, UK, Brazil, India, Spain (Emergent Lleda), and Turkey (Bursa Photo Festival) amongst others. He was awarded the British Council PMI2 grant twice and the South Square Trust Scholarship in 2010. Niccolò has taught at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and the UCA in Farnham where he also held an artistic residency in 2009.
Niccolò currently lives and works in Rome where he is manager at Photo Studio MF and visiting Photography Lecturer at AOSR. Throughout the years Niccolò has written and collaborated with numerous online photographic platforms including: Photomonitor, American Suburb X, Fotografia Magazine and Visual Culture Blog.
