I have wanted to take photographs since I was a toddler. I would stare at the photographs in my parent's yellow-rimmed National Geographics and imagine what it would be like to get to go these amazing places with amazing people and animals and be good enough to take photographs of them that would make others feel like I did in that moment. I've spent the rest of my days pretty much chasing the notion that a good photograph is a magic that can awaken something in someone else, provoke them to feel something, or transport them somewhere they have never personally been. I wake up every day with a mix of pride knowing I'm living the dream of making a living off of photography while going about the daily push to be the best photographer, not compared to others, but that I can be so I can continue to get better at stirring the hearts of others through photography. I have been a professional photographer for nearly eleven years and have primarily made my living photographing weddings.
