About Nikola Biscan

My father was a photographer once. He works for a newspaper now but because of that we always had the proper equipment and software at home to take and edit photos.
So i tried it out and found great interest in creating atmosphere and energy within my photos that draw you in. I don't know if i achieved that yet but that is my vision at least.
Unrelated to the photography my taste and sense for art shifted in a more grim, bleak and odd way. Of course I wanted to translate that into my work as a photographer but soon realised that those two are dangerous to mix. Not letting your work become too edgy, tacky and predictable because that happens quite easily when trying to incorporate blood and more morbid ideas. But rather keeping it tasteful and respectable.

This submission is my progress in finding that balance.
