Nolan Septer grew up in a small Iowa town and moved to Colorado in 2014. He studied photography at the Isaacson School for Communication, Arts & Media at Colorado Mountain College. He has exhibited his work in numerous group shows in Colorado, Minnesota, and New York. Nolan has completed several abstract bodies of work in landscape and portraiture. This year he documented the BLM protests after the death of George Floyd. An image from that series was displayed at the International Center of Photography in New York City in their show ICP Concerned: Global Images for Global Crisis.
