Nora Sayyad is a Finnish-Palestinian photographer whose work explores her personal life, place, displacement, memory and identity, among other topics. She was born in Sweden and lived a short period of time in the Middle East. Her family moved to Finland when she was a child, leaving her father behind. In 2017, she graduated from Novia University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor degree in Art and Culture. She is working on both personal and editorial work. Her images can be found through clients such as Helsingin Sanomat, The Finnish Association for abducted children and The Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters.
