Núria Martínez Seguer (Santa Coloma de Gramenet, 1973) holds a PhD in Fine Arts, specialising in Image, from the University of Barcelona. She develops creative projects in the fields of audiovisual and photographic arts.

Her photographic work, rooted in auteur reportage and partly focused on sport, delves into the world of boxing through a visual language marked by strong contrasts and formal intensity. In 2004 she was awarded the National First Prize at the Euro Press Photo Awards in the Sport category, with the work exhibited at Palazzo Venezia in Rome.
