Olivia Fernandez was born in Bordeaux, France and studied economics at the University of Paris Dauphine. In 2015, she quit her job to pursue photography. She graduated from the creative practices and the documentary photography programs at the International Center of Photography. Her work has won the PDNedu Grand Prize of the 2018 Student Contest in the landscapes category and received honorable mentions from the Life Framer Awards, the International Photography Awards and the International Monochrome Awards. She was part of the Humble Arts Foundation show on loss and the TooTiredProject show on depression at the Vermont Center for Photography.
