I started my creative career as a graphic artist before discovering my passion for photography. It happened while pursuing a BA in graphic design in my hometown Quito, Ecuador. I became intrigued by the art of taking pictures and signed up for a supplementary photography course. The more I learned and the more I understood, the deeper my devotion to photography developed. After that, it was impossible to separate from my camera.
These days I am mostly a documentary photographer; I enjoy the spontaneity of it and how individual shots can’t be planned but are dependent on your ability to think fast and improvise. I am currently studying a second MA in photojournalism and documentary photography in LCC London.
