My work includes a deep personal element. I use photography to project my own personal visions and experiences as a woman living in an Islamic society into a bigger picture as a way to express and share my personal perception with my audience and unfold situations and stories that may remain unnoticed to others.
Feminism is the main subject presented in my work and women are the central subjects. In particular, I explore women’s identity, their situation in an Islamic society and the objectification of women in addition to their daily struggles.
I hope that through my work, I can highlight the sensitive issue of women’s objectification and situation to the public and link my personal experiences to the world to be able to make an impact on my society and the world in general.
