I am an artist since my childhood ..
I can't live without the practice of art.
Very early I have got passion for Hyper realism, New realists, and Pop art movement , born in the sixties.
Yet, it was through the psychedelic art that I got my start on the underground art scene, with a _collective_ multimedia show "The Five Elements" at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
Very quickly, I was noticed by the curator Francois Barré who inviting me to present two larges photographic installations at the Musées des Arts Décoratifs ( Musée du Louvre ) "Material " & " Urban Reality ".
Then, I became official photograph & journalist of Magazine CREE about architecture and design products.
In July 1973 I decided my cousin Didier Siméon, filmmaker, to cross the US by road, and later I return in California, in 1986. The ONE WAY serie was born, like a romantic dream of a certain America, the Beat Generation, and the existential loneliness that emerges from such a trip, hyper - realist, pop and poétic at the same time
"Fairground Art" 1978 was my first big exhibition with only color photography, took place in my return to Europe at the Kodak Eatsman Foundation, avenue Georges V in Paris. Edition of the photo book : " Art Forain " / Hachette.
"PLASTIC MOOD" 1986. In the early eigthies I was living in London. For short time, i leave " photography documents " to create a significant serie of imaginary pictures, with fun & pop art style, satire of the consumer society and the plastic world. ( 4x5 inches SINAR, first Cibachrome prints realised by myself ) . Litterature : Creative review, Creation, The Face, ID
Thereafter, I will become a director of music videos and advertising. During 10 years I digress a while photography exhibitions.
With the arrival of digital and Internet , I come back to my beautiful love story with fine art photography .. With new exhibitions and publications. BLACK_SKINS new portfolio 2014 - 2015
