Patrick Tsai, born in America, is a photographer currently living in Tokyo. Prior to Japan, he has lived in China and Taiwan. He is most known for his two photo diary series entitled "My Little Dead Dick" and “Talking Barnacles”. His work has been featured in Foam Magazine, the Hyere's Festival, Canon’s New Cosmos Competition, Palais de Tokyo, and Susan Bright's book "Autofocus: The Self Portrait in Contemporary Photography" released by Thames & Hudson. In 2012, his photo book "Modern Times" was published by Nanarokusha. That work was featured by Martin Parr in 2014 at the Rencontres d'Arles in France.
