About PAULO BARROS

Paulo Barros graduated in Social Communication - Habilitation in Journalism in 1993, from the Catholic University of Pernambuco, having taken part of the course at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).

Dedicated the undergraduate degree in Social Communication to training as a photo-reporter and to the research and development of processes Photographs. It also rescued photographic
19th century, such as albumin, among others. Studious, especially, of subjects that portray the Brazilian people and cultural manifestations, has already done several photographic works on religiosity in the Northeast.

It is also specialized in covering subjects in the Technology area since 1995, participating in several international hedges over the past 20 years. In 2010, he obtained a specialization in Electronic Journalism from the Center University of Brasília (UniCeub). He also specializes in
Analyst of Social Media, Webdesigner and Digital Photography.

He began his work in the newspaper O POVO in Fortaleza, as a photo-reporter And, the following year, began to act like reporter of the Publishing of Cities.

In 1996, he was invited to implement the electronic version of the newspaper O POVO in the web. He was also responsible, in 1997, for the implementation of the first tecnology especialized publication in the newspaper O POVO.

He was responsible for the two publishing houses until 2001, when he moved to Brasília, where he assumed a position as sub-editor of the Jornal Brasília, and in 2002, he assumed the position of Supplement sub-editor, being Responsible for the newspaper's Education.

The following year he took over the Supplementary Publishing of the Jornal de Brasília, Being responsible for the weekly notebooks in the areas of Tourism, Education, Vehicles, Agribusiness, Real Estate, Contests and Technology.

In 2007 he started working at Correio Braziliense, at the group Diários Associados, the main newspaper of the Federal Capital. At the time, he assumed the position of Subeditor of Politics. The following year, he was invited to the position of Subeditor and, in 2010, editor of the online newspaper portal CB Online. During this period, he was also responsible for Blog Tecnologia, with Sectors posted daily on the Correio Braziliense portal.

In mid-2012, he left the Correio Braziliense and started working in Communication. He worked until December 2014 in the Communication of the Civil House of the Government of the Federal District and Advisory Office for the Public Publication of the Federal District (ArPDF).
He currently works at the Communications Metropolitano do Distrito Federal (Metrô-DF).
