Pedro Baz was born in 1988 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 2011 he received his B.A. in History at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Rio de Janeiro and in 2012 his B.A. in International Relations at Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Rio de Janeiro.
Baz also studied at EAV-Escola de Artes Visuais Parque Lage and Ateliê da Imagem, both in Rio de Janeiro; and since his move to New York in 2013, Baz attended classes at the International Center of Photography and the Art Students League; and had a studio at the National Academy School.
Baz has exhibited his work in exhibitions in New York and Brazil, including Creative Mischief at National Academy Museum in New York, Photography Takes Over at Upstream Gallery in Hastings-on-Hudson and Digital Urbano at EAV Parque Lage.
