About Pedro Patrício

I'm a Lisbon-based photographer. I mainly shoot Street Photography, but also Portrait, Documentary and Architecture (color and black and white).

My work is mostly urban, I’m deeply passionate about capturing people in their daily lives, especially when they are on public transportation and terminals (or near them), rushing to work and returning home. The process of transforming the rhythm of daily life into a form of living art, in a manner reminiscent of Andy Warhol's work, fascinates me.

Visual arts lover ever since I can remember, I studied Cinema, Video and Photography at Lusófona University, in Lisbon. I made career as a producer in performing arts (theatre and contemporary dance) and film (TV commercials, TV series and music videos).

In 2021, I decided to pursue my passion and made the bold decision to dedicate myself entirely to Photography as an author. In July of 2023, I finished the IPF - Portuguese Institute of Photography Professional Course with distinction. My work is deeply influenced by cinema (French Nouvelle Vague, Orson Welles, Andrei Tarkovsky, Pedro Almodóvar, David Lynch, Wong Kar-Wai, David Fincher, Wes Anderson, Alejandro González Iñárritu, among others).

In 2024, I've participated in three international group exhibitions, two in Milan, Italy and one in Athens, Greece. In 2025, I was a Finalist at the Street Macadam's Bnw Awards.
