Pedro Stephan is well-known photographer and journalist of the specialized press gay in Brazil and abroad. His essays have been published in the most important international magazines like the French "Tetu Magazine"; in the German "AK Magazine", "Siegessaeule" and "Du und Ich"; and in the US "Circuit Noize" and "La Vida." "FAB", among others.
In Brazil he photographed and wrote for all the most important gay magazines and websites: Mix Brasil, G Magazine, G online, Dom, Dykerama, A Capa and Sui Genêris. Militant of the Brazilian Homosexual Movement created the first homophobic anti-violence pamphlet in the state of Rio de Janeiro in 1997. He defended his master's thesis, the first thesis on homophobic violence in Rio, at ECO, UFRJ, in 1998.
He shot to important institutional works such as the posters of the LGBT Pride Parade at São Paulo in 2004 and for the AIDS Prevention Campaign organized by the Rainbow Group and sponsored by the Ministry of Health and UNESCO.
