Peggy Stahnke was born on the 21st December in 1988 in Neubrandenburg where she also got her high school diploma.
After that in 2008 she moved to Hamburg where she did a qualification in photography. Based on this Stahnke started to study photography at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel, where she earned a Master of Arts in Photography in 2017.
In between she did several projects and jobs in people photography. She has also participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Germany since 2014. For example Foto-Reflexionen 05/RFLXN 05, 1st place Jury Award, Museums in the Rendsburg Cultural Centre, First Page Gallery, München and PORTRAITS –HELLERAU Photography Award, Festspielhaus Dresden. Stahnke lived and worked in Kiel. She is currently receiving a scholarship for photography from the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel. Therefore she is working with disabled children.
