Peter Valchev is a photographer, director and producer. His greatest inspiration is people and their portraiture through photography or cinema. His portraits of Bulgarian and international celebrities were published in many magazines (DJ MAG; GROOVE MAGAZINE; TRAX MAGAZINE). In 2018 his photos were presented in “DongGang International Photo Festival DIP” in South Korea. The same year Peter has released the short documentary film “Monologue in the Intermission”. It presents the portrait of the Bulgarian prima ballerina Vessa Tonova. The film participated in 25 festivals and won 2 prizes. His first feature film is "Shhh Sing to me!" 2013. During the spring of 2020 his exhibition “Grannie Up/Grannie Down. Family Gravity” will be presented in the urban space of 6 metro stations in Sofia. The both projects are focused on the subjects such as the fear of death, aging and love. Peter Vulchev is working on his new short film “Goodnight, Lilly”, which will be released in the April 2020.
