Petri Juntunen (b. 1975, Gothenburg, Sweden) is a Finnish photographer and visual artist, currently living and working in Helsinki. In his works and projects, Juntunen studies the topics of memory, existence and social constructs, often using novel methods of imaging and representation including 3D scanning, photogrammetry, photo scupltures and projections.
He has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Europe and Finland, the latest solo exhibition “Sunken City” being at Guernsey Photofestival and his works appear in private and museum collections. Juntunen have graduated from MA studies at Photography at Aalto University, The School of Art, Design and Architecture in Helsinki, Finland.
His first monograph "At The Heart Of It All" was recently released by the German publisher Hatje Cantz.
