Philippe Enquin, a young photographer of 86 was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1935. He and his wife Gladys Aslan, moved to France in 1962 where he spent his entire career as a Srategie consultant, and co-founded a strategy consultant boutique MID, Marketing, Innovation and Development). At the end of his career he published a book "Crossed words. Three generations of Argentine Jews" which tells the fascinating story of these migrants born in Russia and settled win Argentina, and allowing him to reveal his three identities: Felipe "The Argentine", Philippe "The French" and Frumkin (the real name of his grand-father) "The Jew".
It's only in the last years that photography became his main activity. In January 2018, the Argentine Gallery hosts his first exhibition "Ephemeral Encounters". In October he participated in the exhibition "Free memories: Resistances" at the town hall of Guyancourt. In November 2018 he published "Instants of humanity", a book of portraits of different continents. His last book "From my balcony. "Chronicles of a Parisian confinement", published in November 2020, is the only account of the daily life of the first confinement.
