I professionally work as a cinematographer but my activity comes directly from the photography itself.
Cinematography deals with the rendition of the movement and the way reality changes and life goes its way.
The stills are much more to me about some kind of a deep feeling questioning our memories and some kind of and Ontology. One goes with the life process which is in a way fluid and dynamic and the other one is a frozen moment that allow us to feel our self much more deeply connected to our real being.
As long as I can remember I can't be sure that my first memories are real or if I made up this mental images out of some stills pick up in our family album.
The first events that I can remember are probably some deep feelings instead of some clear images. My practice of photography is something in between a diary and a form of expression which might stage some of my deeper feelings in some period of my life.
