As a human being we have the tendency to hide ourselves and thus be wrapped up in our environment.
We're trying to work out how we compare to the world around us, trying to recognize ourselves in our surroundings.
That means we tend to adapt ourselves to be able to come into contact with people and things in our proximity.
This tendency you might consider as a metamorphosis that continues forever: in which we search for a shape in which we seem happy and with which we like to present ourselves to the world.
We want to be seen.
We want to be part of our own world, which means we try to find a balance, in which we appreciate things.
Beauty is a proper way for this. And nature is a mirror.
The subjects I use to make pictures from have that mirror reflective function
I do that in an indirect way with nature as the main source of self reflection.
