This past year has afforded me the opportunity to explore my own personal growth and so I have spent this time visiting ancient forests of Europe. This stilling of the mind has brought me closer to the elements of nature and in particular, water, as if in search of personal flow. I am humbled to discover the unique beauty and alchemy of water, forever changing, dynamic, powerful, fierce, at times gentle, illuminated by light or fragmented by darkness. I welcome mystical shapes and forms, animal totems and spirits emerging on the surface, foamed in rushing currents or hiding in the depths. Working with water and producing this work has been a profound and spiritually healing undertaking. Every image offers a mirror to humanity and the complexity of human emotion. In the end we too are in greater part water.
